Simmons scored the game's first two touchdowns on passes from quarterback Dalton Muse -- from 36 and 15 yards -- to give Mayflower a 16-0 first-quarter lead. Joshua Nussey's 20-yard pass to Trace Shoup accounted for Parkers Chapel's only score, and the Trojans trailed 16-8 after Caleb Jacobs rushed for the two-point conversion. Dylan Burnett's 1-yard run, followed by Simmons' two-point conversion run, made it 24-8 in the second quarter. Simmons took over from there, scoring on runs of 28, 80 and 20 yards, converting a two-point conversion after the first of those touchdowns.
